Hi, I own a Fuji F550EXR which is 2 and half years old now. It fell on the ground yesterday and something got broken inside, the lens cannot move anymore. I know the repair will cost me 100 euros more or less because I've already been through it (damn Fuji, try to make your portable cameras more robust, please! Two drops, two repairs). So, given that a F660EXR sells as new for just over 130 euros, I was wondering: shall I better ditch the 550 and get a new 660 (or maybe another second hand...
Ive been looking for a good camera for the last few days and im having trouble. Id like a camera thats good for concerts that is 14 or 16MP, 15 or 20x Optical Zoom that is pretty good for night shots. Ive come across these: Fujifilm Finepix F770 & F660EXRCanon SX160 & SX260Panasonic Lumix TZ30Samsung ST200FSony WX100 The last 2 arent over 15x Optical Zoom but are priced good and over 16MP but im not sure if their good at night. Which camera is the best for what i need? Or any other...
The Fujifilm FinPix F30 I bought in 2006 failed to auto focus while I was on a trip. I emailed Fujifilm and was told to send it to their Camera Repair Department in NJ to be tested. I called Hong Kong's Fujifilm technical support they told me replacement parts for Fujifilm Finepix F30 had been discontinued. So I wonder why Fujifilm told me to send the camera to NJ.I brought the camera to the store I bought it from to be looked at. The salesperson recommended me to buy the FinePix F800EXR...
I've been on this site all night long reviewing possible cameras to purchase and I'm going crazy! So many choices. So many side-by-sides. I think I have settled on the F660EXR. I'm a casual user. garden shots, family shots, pet shots.The S700 was okay, nothing great. Disappointing indoors at family parties. I 99% use auto everything. The pre-set scenes are nice sometimes. It's definitely too bulky though. Lately I end up using my phone more than bringing my S700 (which is also...
