This is probably the best camera for its price. Loaded with a powerful flash. The image stabilization works wonders. Pictures taken in the "N" mode captures good quality low-light images. HD quality video exceeds expectations. Outstanding zoom and not very complicated. All in all, a well constructed well featured decent camera. and it's cheaper than cameras with the same features. Problems: The B/W mode is a bit reddish It might not show "low battery" before it goes off

Ithicajim's already done an excellent review. I've been using my S2000HD for about eight months, and I agree with every point he made. All in all, though, I'd say this camera works better as a camcorder that it does as a still device. In decent light (including any well-lit interior), the video quality is very good. So is the sound. The only point of major frustration is that it suffers from some wandering focus issues. For no apparent reason, it sometimes wants to refocus at ...

In France where I live, this camera is provided with IR remote controle kit ,so I use 2 cameras to make Stereos photos , letf image , right image, because I can shoot simultanously the 2 cameras, even if there are movements on the landscape... .The image quality is top I dont see differences beetwen this Fujinon 2000 HD camera and my Canon EOS 400D ,probably due to the 2/3" sensor and progress in treatments processors. It is the rare bridge camera in the market to give us IR remote controle ...

Remarkably good construction, feature set and image quality for the price. Actually I would rate it a best buy. Feels almost as well constructed as some of Canon's entry level DSLRs. Exposure bracketing, highly customizable settings - overall I'm quite impressed. I wear eyeglasses and I like the electronic viewfinder which is quite usable. Problems: HD video quality is good but does suffer from exposure stepping, more visible in some situations than others. Strange blue cast visible on ...

Quite a dinky camera, nice images if you take the time, set up & corresponding choices a little confusing, I always seem to be jumping into the Menu for something. Shutter delay & VF blackout on par for the price, I would have expected a little better from Fuji. Once you have mastered the Menu system and the odd few buttons around the camera it's a 'happy' family camera. Always carry spare batteries, it really needs a rechargeable battery, I carry it in my car for those times when a camera is ...

I like this camera a lot. Sure its a little slow sometimes and you have to get used to the menu system. But it takes excelllent punchy sharp photos that need very little post processing and the 15x Wide zoom is outstanding. 27mm wide end is really useful in tight places. I am not sure why the battery complaints, I have the same set in that I charged up 2 weeks ago and have taken hundreds of shots with and without flash. Just make sure the rechargables you use are new and 2500MAH plus ...

Very cute, but maddening to use. After two weeks of hands-on work with this camera, I've concluded a) it's very cute and does many things well but b) it can be maddening to use. What it does well: • In good light, it takes photos and high definition video which are sharp and have good color saturation. • The tiny flash is surprisingly powerful, even when lighting a fairly large room. • It offers a wide range of image sizes and formats (ie., 16:9, 4:3, etc.) • It takes excellent close-up ...
