I bought this camera on a tripand it did the job capturing some moments of the trip. Some scenery pics were good, but only in good light conditions. i would say good value, but nothing more.

I loved using the camera. Great point and shoot and good quality prints resulted. Problems: After only 390 shots the CCD failed. Was not worth the cost of repairing. Camera was 3 months out of warranty. Fujifilm claim they would honour warranty up to 14 months but not 15. Did not pay much for the J10 in the first place but still disappointing to have to throw in the garbage.
