Powers off to quickly. I have also had a problem with a poor connection resulting in not being able to turn it on. I had to take the batteries out, clean contacts and replace. Sometimes the power on switch has to be jiggled to get it to turn on. Problems: Power on switch problems.

I've had this camera since it was first released and still use it. I am quite satisfied w/the image quality, and though not a characteristic I was looking for, it's low light sensitivity turned out to be pretty good, and usefull. Maybe a little bulky by current standards, but still small enough to be manageable for carrying around for snapshot purposes. A good amount of manual overide modes gives some flexibility, but navigating the menus is a bit bothersome and makes using the modes ...

After looking at a number of digital camera models, I chose the 750z and later added the Tiffen Filter adaptor and filter set. I have taken a number of photographs with it and found the quality to be very good. The controls are fairly straightforward and simple to understand. At first, I had some trouble with blurred photos, but found that when I increased the shutter speed to 1/125 sec, the blurs disappeared.
