My Menu
The 'My Menu,' customizable options list has trickled down from the high-end Canon bodies all the way to the 1000D. You can select from any of the other menu options so that the settings you change most often are all grouped together. This includes custom function settings, such as Mirror Lock-Up and High ISO noise reduction, making them easier to access. You can even re-arrange the options within the menu to perfectly prioritize your personalization.
Again, 'My Menu' is only available in the 'Creative Zone' modes (A-DEP, M, Av, Tv, P), and not in the 'Basic Zone.'
