Panasonic DMC-LS2

CES 2006: The first of today’s announcements from Panasonic is the Lumix DMC-LS2, officially a replacement for the budget DMC-LS1, but one that is a lot more compact and a lot more stylish. Like the LS1, the new model features a 3x image stabilized zoom lens and is powered by AA batteries. Aside from the re-style, the LS2 also ups the resolution to 5.0 megapixels, uses the Venus Plus engine for faster focusing and lower power consumption, and adds new scene modes.
