12:00 PM EST: Minolta has today announced the all new DiMAGE A1. The A1 is the replacement for the DiMAGE 7 series, it has a new body design, new control layout, enhanced feature set, new Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery, flip-out tilting LCD monitor and many more new features. It's biggest new improvement however must be the new anti-shake system implemented by stabilizing the CCD instead of a lens element. This unique approach is a first in the digital camera world and it will be interested to see how it performs in the field.
