PMA 2003: Duracell has announced an all new battery designed specifically for digital cameras, the CP1 is a high-power lithium primary prismatic battery. It is flat and rectangular, designed to fit into small digital cameras. Although this press release doesn't mention it we know that Duracell will be producing both a rechargeable and a 'retail' non-rechargeable battery. It's very likely we will see future digital cameras supporting the new Duracell CP1.
