(Japan) has today announced the DG-2 digital camera, aim squarely at the
construction industry this rugged digital camera with its rubber case
and oversized controls can be used almost anywhere. The DG-2 has a 2 megapixel
CCD and a fixed focal length (38 mm) F2.8 lens. Additionally there's also
a wide angle conversion lens. The DG-2 weighs in at 79,800 YEN (approx.
$650) and should be available (in Japan) in March 2002.
