Agfa Desktop Products Group (DTP), a leading provider of award-winning digital cameras and desktop scanners, announced today that it has lowered the price on the ePhoto 1680 - its top-of-the line, megapixel digital camera. Effective immediately, the ePhoto 1680 is available in the United States for the suggested price of $699.

"We are extremely excited to offer this digital imaging technology at such a reduced price," said Janet Lord, marketing manager, USA-DTP. "A reduction in price lets Agfa provide a near 2-megapixel camera to an expanded market."

The ePhoto 1680 is one of several members of the ePhoto family, which includes the ePhoto 780, ePhoto 1280 and the recently introduced ePhoto CL30 and ePhoto CL50 digital cameras.
