Sony DSC-D700 User Review (first impressions)

Dave's first impressions (click for user review)Dave Sheldon recently acquired a Sony DSC-D700 and passed a user review to me to publish on this site, these are his first impressions and some of his first images from what is one of the most flexible digital cameras (and the most AWAITED).

"Initial reaction: Wow...what a great looking mechanical beast! don't let the word beast fool you...it's really about the same weight (conceptually) as my nikon f2 with a starblitz 28-80mm lens. the dsc-d700 comes in a pretty striking box (big) with cool pictures and specs of the camera."
