Fujifilm, Sigma, and Pentax post firmware updates

Over the last few days a number of firmware updates have been posted. Fujifilm has new firmware for the following cameras: X-Pro1, X-E1, X-E2, and X100S. From Sigma, there are updates for the SD1 and SD1 Merrill. And finally from Pentax, the K-3 also has new firmware. Get download links and more information about each update below. 

Fujifilm

X-Pro1

  • Improve the cover range and accuracy of the bright frame in the OVF
  • See the exposure setting in live-view and histogram
  • Aperture and shutter speed can be changed once AE lock is selected
  • The default and maximum sensitivity and minimum shutter speed can be set when ISO AUTO is selected
  • New functionality allowing you to edit image file names
  • Change of numbering for images shot using continuous shooting
  • Improvement of Raw file conversion function

SD1

  • It improves the speed of displaying a quick preview image after taking it in RAW or RAW + JPEG.
  • It corrects the phenomenon that Auto Bracketing in manual exposure mode may not work properly.

  • Shorten processing time of combining time for HDR Capture.
  • Improved performance of continuous shooting when using phase-matching autofocus.

No Panasonic? Focus peaking would be a nice xmas gift for my GH3.

Nice features. Love fuji policy on upgrades. Is the way to have the customers loyal to the trade.

For some reason, while I believe the X-E1/X-E2/X-pro 1 got faster minimum shutter speeds in auto ISO, the X100s didn't and remains stuck at 1/125.

Completely ridiculous. Fuji really dropped the ball on that, for a feature that should have been included from the get-go.

Might have something to do with the fact that you can't put a long lens on an X100. It will probably happen at some point. X100 also uses a different shutter so it might not be as simple as copying the code over.
