It's a competition being run by Sigma UK and has a prize that's located in the UK - it's not that surprising that it's only open to UK residents.

If other Sigma distributors run similar competitions, we'll cover those, too.

I don't think globalization applies to most marketing departments yet?? Since air fare seems to be more expensive then many trips I can understand the limit... Hopefully Sigma USA will follow suit. btw- looks like a great lens - hope the competition really pushes this sector.

Oh that a great product i must say i am a professional photographer by myself but i used the older 50mm f/1.4 Lens for clicking landscapes and doing low light photography. After seeing its details i must say this product seems promising and i am looking forward buy this beauty as soon as possible.
