Lens reviews update: 70-200mm lenses added to our test data widget

As part of our ongoing collaboration with DxOMark we've added more lenses to our test data comparison widget. These include a range of 70-200mm zooms from Canon, Nikon, Tamron and Sigma, and the Nikon-mount version of the Sigma 35mm F1.4 DG HSM tested on both the D7000 and D800. Click through for links to view these lenses in our widget, and for the full data on DxOMark.

We've also made a couple of changes to our lens review pages. Sharp-eyed readers may already have noticed that we've changed the scale on our MTF graphs, which now go up to 3000 lph; this allows us to present data measured on the 36MP Nikon D800 correctly. We've also added a version of our interactive scoring widget to the Conclusion page, which allows you to easily compare the strengths and weaknesses of the lenses we've covered.

Click the links in the table below to see the lens data in our widget, or view the full data on DxOMark's site.

Nikon AFS 70-200 / 2.8 VR II has no data for f/4 aperture. Why that? This is most used f-stop.

Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 has no data for f/4 aperture. What a bad joke?

For this category of lens, I would worry more about AF speed than corner sharpness. Center sharpness at 200 mm is useful though.

Which one of them focuses the fastest?

How about Sony lenses? Since us Sony shooters are not using Canikon hardware this is of no use to us.
It seems to me that Sony is still getting ignored, while Canikon get tons of attention :-(
