And I just bought a used x100 because x100s was not supported... Well, I saved a bunch anyway.

DPR, it would be interesting to update your excellent LR vs C1 comparison with Aperture results. Thanks.

One of the reasons I'm hanging on to the X100 and not buying a XTran sensor X camera from Fuji. If I do get one it will be the nex gen X-Pro, then I will see if Aperature is A keeper or another SW needs buying.

What about the Nikon D7100 ? I have had one for a month waiting for Apple to catch up. LR has already added D7100 to its RAW converter.

Too little and far too late ... I've abandoned Aperture for Lightroom nearly 6 months ago due to the non existent support for Fuji RAW files.

I hear that. Had the same dilemma 2-3 years ago, resorted to LR to get by while I waited, and Ap slowly fell out of favor. No regrets, though it's a darn shame.

It's about time... too bad I returned that X20 because of lack of raw support on Aperture...

What about support for the Sigma Merrill Cameras (SD1M, DP1M, DP2M, and DP3M) ?

What about them ? (Who cares, Sigma didn't even sell a full box of those!)

I don't know about them not selling, I saw a guy here (Japan) wearing all three DPs on different length straps

Just looked at it, very impressive first attempt. I prefer the Aperture workflow and it is good enough to work with. Thanks Apple!

Finally!

I tried and the output result is mixed. While I like the color rendering on Aperture better than Lighroom, the detail suffers from color noise and other artifacts when viewed at the pixel level.

Adobe took many months to get it right, so I hope Apple keeps improving the algorithm. I think I'll hold on to Lightroom a little longer.

I don't know which x-trans camera you have, but the level of artefacts seems much reduced with Aperture vs LR (it's particularly evident with X100S files).
