Still not paying for the Elite version for my D800e. Sorry, DXO!

Just downloaded and ran the update.

Now I am ready with my D7100 and P7700.

Won't need gear for a long time (except for that Pro pocket video camera that was reported recently in the News section - sounds remarkable).

I like that tool and use it a lot for my interior (and other sometime) shooting. For example my best set for Real Estate internet pictures - D5100 and 10.5mm NIKKOR. I flow through DxO, then combine them in Photomatix Essentials. Quick and easy. Always good result.
Only I cant understand why Distortion doesn't work with jpg in auto mode, RAW or NEF only. I will be appreciated for any advise.

Hello!

DxO Optics Pro's functionality for distortions correction works with the JPEG files produced by the camera, but not with the ones created by another software (which erase the metadata needed to identify the lens used).

I've tested just now. All kind of "image quality". Files straight from the camera. All NEFs worked out good, jpg DID NOT DO distortion-auto!
I can send you printscreen, if you like.

While making the test files, I noticed if just to download files from camera memory card Distortion-auto is WORKING. If I using Adobe Bridge Photo Downloader (CS4) something changing files:

1. If I check "preserve current file name in XMP" DxO cannot use auto Distortion
2. If I un-check "preserve current file, name in XMP" Distortion-auto is WORKING

I've sent those files to support team to check whats wrong with Downloader

I Bought the latest elite version,I like it a lot but it needs DNG support and also profoto RGB colorspace,Autohide of tools would also be nice, apart from that it's a very good raw converter..

Hello!

Actually DxO Optics Pro support the DNG files of your (supported) camera but not those from a converter.

Best,

Another update without a fix for the Sony A99 Raw green shadows problem!

Agree, that is a major problem which makes DxO unusable for A99. I really hope for a quick fix

Yeah, DxO doesn't appear to be that interested in supporting the Sony platform. There is still a couple of lens/body combos overlooked on the A900 and Zeiss. Likewise, the whole DNG thing frustrated me so I simply had to move over to LR. Also the non-update pricing scheme they have makes it hard for me justify the $199 a year when they release major version updates.
