Nikon UK rebates are always so disappointing - usually limited to lower end stuff.
Never any prosumer lens only rebates.

The problem with rebates is that they are not given unless is against another purchase. When we did purchase a 70 - 200mm VII, the third pro lens of the trinity, the shop did not know how to use the rebate card so it never did get used. There is also limitation if ordering over the internet no one can process the card. So it appears to be a waste of time and our money. We still await £70 + rebate after some 6 months on purchase of over £5,000 + kit! Pointless marketing ploy why waste our time with this nonsense and deduct on purchase. It is cause of much resentment and the worst camera company we have come across! We still have this useless card with £70 + on it but doubt if we will ever put it to use as there are not other nikon items to purchase! It is maddening!

I think you'll find that they're called cashback here in the UK!! As the post refers to the offer available in the UK perhaps you could call them cashback and keep the rebate reference for our friends across the pond!

Better prices, and less discounts.
Both Canon and Nikon have risen sharply the price of photography.

Is there a policy at DPR for posting sales?
I think posting reviews and advertising should be enough.
Maybe a forum for deals seen?

Nice if you live in either place, not so much if you don't!
