Three E-mount lenses also get updates to enable Fast Hybrid AF support. See table below for more detail on which bodies and lenses will get updates.

Actually I guess this will be in the evening when the firmware is released...

Since from other sources the 5th of February is announced, this may be the 5th in japan...

But I don't know, I am just guessing

I think it will be the 5th in Japan. Should be the 6th in the US.

Sorry but how does this "automatic compensation support" help in the NEX5N? Where can I read more about this? Thanks

It seems others are reporting there is more to these updates than just lens related fixes. It would be nice if DP Review would address this issue too.

So the only thing that gets updated on the NEX-7 is compensation support for the 16-50 power zoom? Or did I read it wrong?

Sony, U keep on disappointing your fan club!!! Don't u have any programers to produce decent firmwares..It's a shame!! I hope u will read this comment, because so many Sony customers are really disappointed..check a bit a other websites and u'll find out that many of us have little requests and u have done nothing for that..It's a pity

I don't think most internet forums are teeming with Sony employees taking notes of people's requests. Why not contact Sony directly, and let them know what you would like to see improved?

So Sony lives in thier own world, and don't care what people think or what other companies has to offer?!
That's a shame, I would've bought Nex6 two months ago, but all that complete lack of interest that Sony shows against its fen club is keeping my Nex5n and Nikon in my bag.

Sony, you forgot C3, which has only been released for 1 year and 7 months, and is still being used by so many people! It is in the same generation of 5N and 7, and it got a silver award from DPReview. So many people love to shoot with it, including me.

After I purchased NEX-6 kit, I found the E1650 produced unacceptable vignetting on C3. It is pathetic that a live model has been omitted by such a large scale brand name and manufacturer. Although my 6 got updated now with the support to my E1018, E35, E18200LE, I still feel so disappointed.

To add to that, Sony does not even support distorsion or chromatic aberration for older lenses such as the 16mm with the C3. Really a shame and a slap on the face for C3 owners!
