Apple releases version 1.1 of iPhoto for iOS

I upgraded iPhotos for iOS (v 1.0 > 1.1) after upgrading the iPad to iOS 6.0. It looks like there are many new features which I'm eager to learn, but did have one serious PROBLEM; now my journals won't upload to iCloud. I've worked on it myself (tried multiple devices and new journals, etc.) and contacted Apple regarding the problem. No word yet on what's up, but I'd advise not upgrading to v 1.1 until this has been resolved.

Just like Apple, Microsoft and Adobe do the same thing. So I don't see what is so different here. They both release updates, sometime major updates, to a current version product at no charge. Only when a whole new version releases do you need to upgrade.

Apple does the same thing, incremental updates (no matter how major they are) are usually free. But once they release a major version change, like Aperture 2 to Aperture 3 or iLife '09 to '11 (which iMovie and iPhoto are packaged in).

Now with Apps on the iPhone and iPad it is still too early to tell since Apple hasn't released a major version change yet.

So again, I don't see what is different here.

Having said that, I have been holding out on iPhoto since the initial release couldn't support my 24MP A77 pictures. But now that it does, I'll will probably purchase it and give it a try.
