Usain Bolt captures the moment of his double-double Olympic triumph

Moments after becoming the first man to win back-to-back Olympic 100m and 200m sprints, Jamaican runner Usain Bolt decided he wanted to capture the moment from his own perspective. The ever-ebullient sprinter grabbed a camera from Swedish photographer Jimmy Wixtröm and started snapping away - showing, in wide-angle, what it's like to be center of the press' attention. The BBC has put together a gallery, both of Bolt's images and those of the press corps' shots of one of athletics' great showmen.

I really want to be a press photographer so I can carry a little m4/3 camera and brag about how it's just as good as their colossoal canikons

Everyone here is in a happy mood but you have to crash the party. It seems like you are always angry because you have to compensating for something.

IcyVeins, you have really gone and pooped the party now. Heresy against "the small is beautiful" creed will get you a one way ticket to photography hell. (By the way, I've just stuck my NEX5n on Ebay and am off to buy a DSLR!)

Nothing like letting the world know you're the center of everyone's attention ~

Usain you're hilarious, and we don't see too many perspective shots like these

Heheh, I like that shot of the photographers & crowd, where EVERYONE is wielding a camera, nice!

Where everyone is wielding a Nikon. I guess Canon pros are dumping their kit as fast a Bolt can cover 200m.

Well, true, I can see how it is a big thing for Canikonians as far as who is the most beloved by pros at a given moment (nothing wrong I reckon' showing the pride, showin' the love! Just look at my username handle lol, says it all (Olympus diehard since I was kid!) But really I love all cameras, almost. Give me EITHER Canon or Nikon as a present, and I guarantee that I will be happy whichever way! :P
(Edit....But give me the new rumoured Olympus E7 and a handful of glistening SHG glass and I'll be even happier!)

It was a great moment... did anyone else notice this little scene shortly after?

I'd love to see how that photo or video came out.
