Wondering - When you are editing in Efex in Lightroom, are you required to edit a TIFF file, or are you working on the RAW? I ask because I don't like creating another file... would rather it be seamless and act and feel like it was a function of Lightroom.

I downloaded it - first impression is it is slow and buggy. I have 3.

There are a lot of features I like, but it has to be 3x as slow as V3. Disappointing.

If you read the article above completely or go to the NIK website you will find your answer. ;-)

And yes, it's $99 for the update and if you search around you can quite easily find a number of coupon codes to save you another 15%.

I have already placed my order. The history and multiple filters were two items I was hoping was in the next release. Some of the new filters look interesting and looking forward to what that did to some of the current filters.

I will definitely be upgrading for the ability to combine filters alone.

Being able to do multiple filters should be handy when using the lightroom plugin (without layers)...

now that NIK figured out how to write a 64 bit program, does that mean we can expect a 64 bit version of Nikon Capture?

Get with the times. ;-)

NIK released a 64-bit compliant update of Color Efex 3 quite some time ago... (free for registered users I might add)
