Just posted: Our quick review of Nik's Snapseed app for the Apple iPad. Nik is one of the better-known names in photographic software, and at the heart of its various plugins is U Point - an automatic masking tool that allows you to pinpoint specific areas of an image for manipulation. Snapseed is an app for the Apple iPad that brings this U Point technology to the touchscreen iOS platform. It features a wide range of effects filters, as well as more conventional adjustments like crop, rotate and 'organic frames'. At $4.99/£2.99/€3.99, Snapseed is considerably cheaper than Nik's desktop software, but can it even approach the same versatility? Read our quick review to find out.
