For a long time I wanted to buy a real Macro lens and a good Tripod.
After a lot of research done by reading reviews and looking at a lot of Youtube video's I decided that it was clear as mud and it covered the ground. Finally a review of a Triopo and video of a benchmark between a Manfrotto and a Benro made me go to an as excellent known shop for a final advice. The "hobby" tripods were downstairs and the "professionals" on the second floor. The Triopo was not at the second floor. The sales asked me a lot and went and came back with a Benro A2681TB1 alu Tripod. He said this is my advise for you. € 235 incl. ballhead B1, bag, quick mounting plate and spikes and a 5 years warranty. I used it frequently last month and for me it's really a very perfect Tripod. My camera is a Canon D40 with EFS 17-85 USM IS, a EF 70-300 UM IS and a EF 100 mm Macro USM. For Macro I also bought a Wireless remote from Pixel and that makes it easy to shoot!
