About dpreview
- We have the content (10 years worth), the data (products, specs, etc), the users (half a million unique, daily), the community (over half a million registered users), the experience and the will to make amazingly useful, innovative and engaging web apps. We just don’t have enough developers, yet (that’s where you fit in).
- We’re still crafting our own development style and philosophy; you’re going to be a big part of it.
- We have a massive active user community (big plans here) who will discuss, praise & possibly criticize your newly launched features within seconds.

- We embody the flat-structure concept. Everyone (including you) answers directly to the founder, a fellow developer.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you
- Your answer to the ‘what do you do?’ question involves the words ‘tubes’ and/or ‘interweb’.
- You can make it to the London Bridge area (London SE1) daily (sorry, no telecommuters).
- You can turn your hand to anything. A new language? Novel development methodologies? Audacious projects? Foosball?
- The idea of working in a small team, developing for millions of visitors, excites you (and scares you a little too hopefully).
- You have big web 2.0 ideas (1.0, or ‘classic’, is fine too) along with the confidence and skills to take them all the way to completion: Concept, DB procs & tuning, internal library development, caching strategies, HTTP handlers, front-end design and client-side JS.
- You wield firebug, fiddler, VS debugger, SQL profiler & trac like a ninja.
