Fujifilm issues firmware updates for Z10fd & Z100fd

Fujifilm has released firmware v.1.01 for its Z10fd and Z100fd digital compacts. The updates speed up the power on cycle of both cameras when using xD-Picture Cards, enables camera to computer transfer when using 4 GB media in the Z10fd and tweaks the underwater whitebalance of the Z100fd. Applicable model: FinePix Z10fd

The firmware update Ver.1.01 incorporates the following issues.

1. Shortens delay in start operation with an xD-picture Card.
2. Countermeasure for PC connection between the 4GB memory card inserted camera and PC on Windows Vista. Data transfer from PC to the camera has been enabled under usage of FinePixViewer.

Applicable model: FinePix Z100fd

The firmware update Ver.1.01 incorporates the following issues.

1. Enhanced white balance in UNDERWATER mode.
2. Shortens delay in start operation with an xD-picture Card.
