ArcSoft has announced an upgrade to its image editing program PhotoImpression. Version 5.1 is said to feature 'significant' upgrades to previous editions of the software including easy acquisition from cameras, scanners, freehand and template-based cropping and auto colour enhancement, as well as offering the usual tools of red-eye removal, decorative frames and project templates. It is available as a download from the website for €49.99 (£29.99).

The easy-to-use and affordable software is now available across Europe and features significant upgrades from previous versions. The user interface has been redesigned to enhance user navigation and now makes it quicker to find what you’re looking for.
