Leica's Digital-Modul-R has been delayed and will now begin shipping in April next year. First deliveries were originally expected next month. The reason for the delay is that some software components needed for the universal insertion of the digital solution could not be realized up to the standards of Leica until now, says the company. A need for additional programming has also surfaced.
