Sony extend 90 day warranty on DSC's

Sony Support USA today announced that they are extending the limited warranty on DSC-F828, DSC-T1, and Y2004 models DSC-P41, DSC-P73, DSC-P93, DSC-P100, DSC-W1. Previously the warranty covered parts for 1 year and labor for 90 days, Sony has now extended the labor portion of the warranty to a full year providing full 1 year cover for these models. All other digital cameras are covered by the warranty specific to that model.

Sony expands limited warranty for DSC-F828, DSC-T1, and Y2004 Cyber-shot® Digital Cameras

Sony is pleased to announce that the limited warranty for several Cyber-shot® Digital Cameras has been expanded from 1 year parts / 90 days labor to 1 year parts / 1 year labor at no charge, pursuant to the limited warranty card noted below. The models to which this 1 year parts /1 year labor warranty applies are DSC-F828, DSC-T1, and Y2004 models DSC-P41, DSC-P73, DSC-P93, DSC-P100, DSC-W1. All other Sony digital cameras retain the limited warranty supplied with the product.

Some DSC-F828, DSC-T1, DSC-P73, DSC-P93 and DSC-P100 were supplied with a 1 year parts / 90 days labor limited warranty card. The attached limited warranty card supersedes such earlier limited warranty card.
