dpreview.com wins DigitalFocus award at PMA

PMA 2003: It has been announced that dpreview.com will tonight be awarded a DigitalFocus Award for the best "Digital Imaging Site or Service". Here at dpreview we are very proud to receive this award and must thank all those people in the industry who have shown their support for our aim of bringing high quality, timely, independent, factual and accurate news and reviews to the digital photography public. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all our visitors and especially our long term supporters who contribute so much through our forums. Other winners were the Canon EOS-1Ds (Professional Digital Camera), Olympus C-50 (Prosumer Digital Camera).

6th Annual Imaging Award Winners Announced at DigitalFocus 2003

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE) - March 1, 2003 - The winners and finalists for the 6th Annual DigitalFocus Awards were honored here today, just prior to the DigitalFocus(TM) 2003 @ Las Vegas media event. Top honors this year went to companies that include Adobe, Canon, Epson, Fuji, HP, Kodak, Microsoft, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic and Sony, for their outstanding products during the past year. The DigitalFocus Awards are among the most prestigious awards in the field of digital imaging. The awards annually honor the top digital imaging products in 15 different categories. This year's DigitalFocus Awards, formerly known as the Excellence in Imaging Awards, were once again sponsored by Pepcom Inc. and its DigitalFocus showcase series. The awards were presented at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas on the evening before the PMA trade show opened.
