Canon Digital IXUS 300 (S300 Digital ELPH)

PMA 2001: Canon today announced the new Digital IXUS 300, also known as the S300 Digital ELPH (in the US) and the IXY Digital 300 (in Japan). The new IXUS 300 now features a 3x optical zoom lens and the same 2.1 megapixel sensor seen in the first Digital IXUS (sorry, no 3 megapixel IXUS yet...). The Digital IXUS 300 is priced at US$599.
