It's always nice to see other websites doing well, PhotoPoint was established at about the same time as this site. They saw unprecedented success not long after launching as one of the first photo sharing sites. According to the Media Matrix May 2000 Digital Media Report PhotoPoint.Com had 2,079,000 unique visitors in May. Well, we're not doing too badly ourselves with 826,000 unique visitors in June...
PhotoPoint Attracts Record Two Million Unique Visitors
Report by Media Metrix Finds PhotoPoint.com as One of the Most Trafficked Internet Sites
SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 13, 2000--PhotoPoint Corporation today announced that its PhotoPoint.com consumer photo-sharing Web site attracts more than two million unique visitors, according to Media Metrix, Inc., the leader and pioneer in Internet and Digital Media measurement. The Media Metrix May 2000 Digital Media Report shows that PhotoPoint.com had 2,079,000 unique visitors in May, and as a result the site ranked as the 173rd most trafficked Web site during the month.
