By Popular Demand: Casio Talk

By dpreview staff on Mar 16, 2000 at 04:00 GMT

By Popular Demand we've created a new discussion forum especially for talk about Casio digital cameras. I've received several requests over the course of the last month to setup such a forum and so the decision was made. Casio have long established themselves in the digital camera market, recently generating more interested with the introduction of the QV-3000EX.

So get in there and start discussing everything related to Casio digital cameras!

My first digital camera was a tiny Casio that had a swiveling LCD screen that made it great for self-portraits. I bought it in 1997. I have long since lost it and moved on to the Sony Mavica in 2000, then a couple of Kodak EasyShares and I now use a Sony NEX-5N.

I have been trying to find out what model number the Casio was and I cannot find anything about it at all. It was NOT the QV-10, though, which was introduced in 1995 as the world's first digital camera with an LCD screen, nor was it in the QV line, apparently, as all the photos of the QV series look completely different from the camera I had.
