Everybody's
at it! (so to speak) Steve has now posted a user review of the
MX2700, in which he concludes "At the time of this writing
(June 1999) the MX-2700 is a good value for the ~$550 price. Fuji
makes it an even better deal by throwing in a FREE $100 FD-A2
flashpath adapter for cameras sold through August 31, 1999. I
would recommend that anyone who buys this camera invests in a
good flash card reader as the 1800x1200 images are about a megabyte
each. Serial port downloading is extremely slow and the FlashPath
adapter is not that much faster. I hope that Fuji adopts the USB
port for future digicams as most PCs are now equipped with this
faster device. "
