Kodak Japan announce new 2.3 megapixel DC280J. Here's a translation of the Japanese pages specifications.

Flash range: 0.5m - 3.0m (Guide no. 11)
Exposure modes: Center weighted average and Spot
Exposure lock
Macro mode only with LCD switched on

Auto sensitivity on: ISO50 - ISO140 automatic
Auto sensitivty off: ISO70 standard, ISO50 in bright light
Self timer: 10 seconds

Obviously there will be a DC280 and the J designation denotes the Japanese market camera, no news yet on dates or prices for worldwide release although the Japanese camera is supposed to be launched on July 23rd at a price of 100,000 YEN (about US$820).
