For
those of you who don't know about Digita, it's an operating system
designed specifically for Imaging based devices which allows users
to write (and/or download) scripts which enhance the functionality
of their device. So far only the Minolta Dimage EX1500, Kodak
DC220, DC260 and DC265 (plus the Epson PrintOn PT-100 printer)
use the operating system, but it's a trend I personally would
like to see other manufacturers take up.
The
winning scripts can seen / downloaded here
"We're
officially announcing the winners of the Digita Scripting Contest.
We received some really cool scripts that not only enhance the
overall digital imaging experience, but transform the camera into
a variety of in the field tools. "
(congratulations go to Tom Janiszewski,
Brian Downs and Steve Dean)
