Hmmmm ... I wonder how far you can take this method. If you have an image that is full off different colors - can you then mark - say 10 colors - and let all other colors just morph into...

OK- so if I get you right- you selectively put each color where it should be.
I.e. when putting red right you selectively only modified red parts.

Its not easy stuff.
Yepp - but it does not result in color photos. The conversion to get natural color photos is much more complex.

I think this problems comes from the fact that Fovein layers do have information that may be extremely out of gamut when converted to sRGB.
If you have a normal RGB sensor (e.g. Bayer CFA)...
