I think it was unfortunate that Olympus used the term "micro" , and now looking at the size of the E-M1 which is comparable to an E-620, the "m" will come to signify "mirrorless"
proofs the idea....
around 2001/2002, when the E-system was designed a typical consumer DSLR cost around 3000-4000 US$.
There have been no lenses available designed for that sensor format (APS-C)
So Olympus thought...
I doubt this.
The RX100 lens aperture gets smaller very soon, the chart is cleary misleading here.
A great idea, but (currently) so badly done that it does more harm than good and most likely...
The E-3 and E-5 have been to big for my liking, that's one reason why I kept the E-1.
c-AF is not important to me (unuseable on the E-1 anyway by todays standards) and otherwise I see little...
My Olympus E-1 is still my only system camera. I have a few FT and OM lenses for it.

Afaik until today it is the...
I need high ISO in a pocket camera much more often than in a systems camera, but this is just my opinion, of course.
I use systesm camera when I know that I want to make some photographs and...
What does "40% more sensitive" translate to?
In my opnion 140% does mean 1/2 ISO step. Correct?
This talk is as old as the 8MP sensor from the E-300 in the year 2004. Even in those times many people talked about how the 4/3" sensor maxed out at 8MP.
Sony already packed 20MP on a 1" sensor in...
