My entry 'In the Glade' was 'DQed'. I looked at this challenge a couple of days ago. I particularly liked the 'Michel Dever Woods' entry. I assumed (wrongly) that 'Bluebells' were thw same as 'Bluebonnets': Oh well: I've had worse!

RuthC: If the Host has been specific in asking for photos of Bluebonnets, why doesn't he DQ the many entries of other varieties of flowers? If he had wanted any blue flowers, then that is quite another thing. Hosts need to take responsibility for their leadership role. Currently, there are more than 50% of the entries which are not bluebonnets.

See also 'Happy Feet: Impromptu day at the beach - The Prequel'. The reason she looks so happy is that she has just got all the yucky mud off her toes.

Oops: I didn't spot the 'how much did your equipment cost ' rule until too late. The GF1 is no longer in production, but Amazon have a red one for £199.00! The 20mm F1.7 'Pancake' lens is also available from Amazon for abot £265.00.

See 'Happy Feet: Impromptu day at the beach - The Prequel' to find out why she's so happy to get her toes into the water!
Solution: I withdrew the earlier uploaded photograph and re-entered it so that the two photos are (at least for the time being) 'together'.
I thought that I'd uploaded these two photographs at about the same time. I checked this morning and this one hadn't uploaded for some reason.

I stayed out of it until after the judging, because it is a brilliant picture. ...but could this be a giant otter, rather than a seal?
