Agreed. I do more outdoor lifestyle shooting, but the same issue can arise. Just keeping a bit of powder around and a cloth can work wonders.

That says more about the intelligence of some people than anything else. For the most part, it has nothing to do with confusion. When I'm talking about the Canon 1Ds I owned years ago, I never...

Agreed. This nicknaming thing is so ridiculous. It has a name....just use it.

Pretty much bang on with your comments. The file quality is superior. The extra DR is great for maintaining the highlights in hair from the sun, and the color quality is superb. For those of us...

The best you can do is to use the color profile your lab uses to match you monitor to their printing system. Not easy!

This is interesting. Please don't take this wrong. When I first saw it....I thought, big deal. Then, I found myself staring at it...zooming in. The shapes caught my interest. I love the textures...

Beautiful work. Congrats.

Really? I've been an NPS member for years. Nikon provides a mountain of education, support, and representation for photographers.

You should see my Fuji X10 in Velvia mode. Awesome light camera to take on vacae.

Your views are not relevant. It was private property. You were in the wrong. End of story.

I think the OP thought he was going to get a lot of support with the thread....instead, it backfired and now he's trying to justify himself.

I still miss my 1Ds Classic. I also enjoy my Nikon D2x Classic. I picked up a Nikon D700 because it was cheaper than the Nikon D3 Classic, but used the same sensor.
some people just don't...

Most pros? Really? King of what exactly? I think this is more your opinion than that of "most pros."
-
.....you're on private property. Basically, you follow their rules, or you go Pound sanD. You were in the wrong. Quit whining and find some other subject matter.
-
Odd....I dont see the word "Classic" in either image.
-
I agree with everything here....bang on. Skintones are identical once each camera is profiled in raw.

Tough one. The body, AF, speed are better on the 5D3. The sensor on the D600 is superior. Depends on your shooting style as to which matters more.
