I've just downloaded and viewed the panning video from the D800 review. I expected it to be completely smooth but the video is slightly jerky. Comments?

How compatible is this with Nikon lenses? The intro mentioned this but not the 'key features' list.

Can the D800 shoot in FX mode with a DX lens attached?

I'm sure it's a fine lens. However is it better than the Tokina 116 which according to reviews works well FX when stopped down slightly? On my Nikon DX bodies gives virtually the same FOV as this...

One of the all-time great lenses! Why no review of it on this site?
