Er... Thar's it?
Poetic justice. Once again.
Phil of Cilcain: The only 'real' premium superzoom camera was the Panasonic DMC-FZ200? Did someone forget the Fuji X-S1? With its manual zoom its a classic.
Why would DPR remind readers of the fact they never bothered to review the X-S1? Best forgotten, of course.
Digitall: Nice looking camera, very nice specs. but the tiny sensor vs. body size do not make my day. Sure that Olympus could put a sensor M4:3 here with this fixed lens camera. maybe one day...
Or reacquaint yourself with the laws of physics.
The page is quite buggy at the moment. Loads correctly less than 50% of the time.
atamola: DP reviewer: "Ok guys, Just finished. Quick, we need something negative to say about the camera? Anyone?
Guy 1: "well, maybe we can say that the Interface and controls can be overwhelming"
Guy 2: "All interfaces and controls at this level are. We should add **initially**"
DP reviewwer: "Great. We need more"
Guy 1: "we can say... (pause)..."
Guy 2: "... that the In-camera Raw conversion interface is somewhat unintuitive!!!"
DP reviewer: "You are a god-send!!! What else!? What else!?"
Guy 1: "We can say that Auto focus with Four Thirds lenses is slow"
Guy 2: "but it is not"
DP reviewer: "Let's add **in dim conditions with tricky subjects**"
Guy 1: "What are tricky subjects??"
DP reviewer: "Stay focused, damn it! We need to say negative things!! got it?? Got it??"
Guy 2: "If that's the case why not that the "Multi-screen live view interface looks very dated"
DP reviewer: perfect, we are almost done.
That's strange... When I listened to the tapes I could only hear moans and groans.
Where is the grip on the rx100 from?
So now silver lenses on black bodies are 'cool'? Pathetic...!
Why doesn't DPR publish photos of the camera when every other photo site has them?
Shame there are no photos showing what each lens can do.
What? No What The Duck?
Good lens and big sensor is the only way for compacts to justify their existence these days....
Will the Oly variant have IBIS? The smaller the camera, the more need there is for in camera stabilisation... Olympus, your move!
Oh dear.... Is DPREVIEW into rumours now?
Markol: Nice camera but the truth is: I can pocket my RX100, the GM1 is smaller, but with the lens it won't fit in my pant's pocket. So I need to carry it in some bag and at that point, the difference between it and the GX7 or any other similar camera becomes negligible, if not even skewed towards the larger, simpler to handle model.
I always have my GF carry it in HER bag. Of course it's easier for her if the camera is an RX100 rather than a GH3...:))
harold1968: These type of cameras should be the real reason for M4/3s, not the bulky E-M1 which became obsolete the day the Sony A7 was launched.
I wish Panasonic the best of luck with what looks like a great camera!
It's not the camera size but the lens size that determines the bulk of a system. In that regard, m43 is hard to beat.
Would be nice if Nikon was equally proactive in addressing their customers' concerns...
D600 ring a bell?
Why not a list of bloopers while we are at it?
Another tempest in a tea pot.
JEROME NOLAS: Great IQ for less money, sounds good to me.
What do you think? Too many cams, so little time.
