Hi Ad, You Disqualified my entry of a city because there were no lamp post. However there are more entries here without lamp posts .... are you going to DQ these entries so that others can re enter the Challenge? Thanks
Peter

In reply to:

tbcass: No Fire. Fail!

Thats fine, but people respond better to positive comments, particularly from people whom enter the challenges themselves.
So why don't you put your money where your mouth is, and enter a few challenges yourself, and see how you go...
and.... good luck..
regards

In reply to:

beholder1: This processing is exciting isn't it?! A good show with the severe contrast! Thankfully it is framed by the atmosphere lit by our star. Good Job!

Thanks Beholder1, Yes I'm enjoying the processing part of my photography... It gives me more control over how my images look. so you have double the fun...firstly taking the image and making sure you have a good file, then processing it into a pleasing final image that others can enjoy as well.

In reply to:

cxsparc: Or simply use the HDR highlight and shadow recovery sliders of Capture One. That takes only one RAW file and 10 seconds.

Yes, like they say... Always more then one way to skin a cat...Particularly in PS...

In reply to:

tecnoworld: Stunning. Is there an online tutorial to select the right parts you want in ps, to blend into a single image? Thx.

Thank you tecnoworld,
Sorry there is no online tutorial for this, it is basically as I described above. just add the second file as a layer on top of the first and select the area you want to keep on the top layer and hit the layer mask, then just tidy up the edges...
