Ya, like the previous poster said - when I click the "view original size" link - the 100% view is horrific, looks like that file got corrupted or something

I like them all. Beautiful girl, and the shallow DOF really works here, in my opinion.

The photos are outstanding. And the model is just the right size to me - are we so used to fat people that she looks too skinny to some? Well, give her a few years, and she'll put on some weight...

Outstanding! How dark was it, actually? And how was autofocus performance?

I've shot both cameras with the same lenses side by side, and I just like the output better from my D700. It requires less PP to get the most pleasant results. But I've had several people comment...

I also have D700 and D800, and I like my D700 a little better than D800. I use D800 for paid shoots when I know that pictures might be printed huge. But for everything else I use D700. 50 1.8D...

They were sold out most of the time. It more seemed like they couldn't get any cameras from Sony to sell...

Just when I was about to get me one of those - they removed it from their site! They were almost always sold out anyway, but now it's gone. I wonder what's up with that!

I see you have 1/30s shutter speed in last two pictures - I would switch to S mode with auto ISO enabled, and use at least 1/100 or faster. The softness you see is likely due to that slow shutter...

I don't have the camera yet, but my understanding is that it defaults to 1/80 shutter speed

Great photos, really like them all! How many shots do you get on one charge shooting like that in a daylight?

It really depends on how far you are from the stage and if you need to zoom in (meaning using smaller aperture), or if you can get pretty close to the stage - then you can shoot wide open and crop...

You really don't need a small sensor and reduced megapixel count with this camera. You can just zoomin all the way, and then crop in post - and you will get a better result with this Sony than...

I'm afraid I can't explain how they did it - but in my opinion, even that half sensor is still far far far far ahead of anyone else on the market. Here are some pictures I've taken at some small...
