"If Fuji brings on a fast-focusing X-E2 soon" According to most reviews X-E1 already has a pretty fast AF by mirrorless standards, no?

"do they not employ English-speaking international marketing people??" Steve, Zeiss is proudly and historically German company. Why should they name their lenses so that it is convenient for...

@HDF2 - Both Nex and Fuji mounts also offer adapters to various other lens mounts. So it's not unique to m43.
-
It depends. Sony and Fuji cameras and lens have different mounts and thus lens aren't interchangeable. But Panasonic and Olympus use the same mount, Micro 4/3 (m43), and thus you can share lenses...

My guess you aren't a pro (sorry if I'm mistaken). Do you do huge posters or billboards? If not why adding extra 8MP to already hefty 16MP is a main driver to change cameras? 5N is a pretty modern...

I'm just saying that for Pentax to come up with FF DSLR isn't as simple as just stuffing FF sensor into K-5 body as you implied initially. In fact it basically means developing a brand new camera...

Like I said IBIS is just part of the equation. Almost all mechanical innards will be bigger and heavier and thus will have to be redesigned along with a new body to house them and battery to feed...

Not only bigger sensor is more expensive it's also, you know, bigger. That means you can't just stuff it into existing body and call it quits. There are many implications, mechanical, electrical...

I meant K-01 and Q both of which are frankly looser propositions. As you said should be "well-engineered".

To save you some time - very badly. Your data just shows that Pentax as a brand isn't that popular compared to Canon, Nikon and almost everybody else. Class by class Pentax ASP-C cams no matter how...

Thank you Tom for at least not advising to stone them to death.

So " NYT and Getty don't have a clue" but one Sammy Yousef does?

Yes, sure, for the same sensor size. But in your original quote (see above) you were comparing FF and mFT sensors which are vastly of different size. So you already seem to contradict...

Is it true that higher pixel density always makes for more detail? By that logic any tiny sensor point-n-shoot at same ISO will always be more detailed than mFT not speaking of FF. In reality for...

What, spending so much time and effort just to create such an elaborate kitsch? Most compositions are in a such bad taste no wonder Tyra Banks is a fun.

Based on your input I decided to sell GF1 but to keep Panasonic lenses. The only thing I'm on the fence is whether to keep 14-45 or sell it and get OMD with the 12-50 kit. On one hand I really like...
