complete waist of money! If you have anything else then iPhone 4S this app will not work. When you will use this app, iPhone "can get hot" and I will recommend to use external power source.
Bottom line: DO NOT waist your money and time
Old news - VERY OLDfirst I read about it here: http://www.makeuseof.com/dir/gadgettrak-serial-search-tracking-lost-cameras/ in April of 2011
reps2: Yes, Sony don't (you say) give the Camera Serial in the Exif, and, I fear Canon didn't provide that service in my G11, nor, indeed, in the G12 I bought to replace it. Pity, and, not, I fancy, really very expensive to have done. Even the Canon DSLR require external software to insert the Artist and Copyright, unlike Nikon.
Regular tools which read EXIF data did not show S/NTry ExifTool on the unprocessed file from your camera
Oh, where are we going??? This is old, very old news (at list April 27, 2011) like my grand father old.here is link which I saved long time ago: http://www.photographyblog.com/news/stolen_camera_finder
May be this is good app however non of my camera/lens combination present in it. I have Nikon d300s with Nikkor AF-S IF-ED f/2.8D (17-35, 28-70 and 80-200) lens, so as for me this app just useless. Especially after releasing Nikon Capture NX2.3 and creating camera/lens profile for Photoshop CS5. I sent message with THE question regarding preset to CS and have no respond (around 2 weeks).
oh they did it again! But how about Mac users with OS X Lion?????On my mbp with 10.7 Capture NX2 (2.2.8) just crashing every time when I trying to run it.
