@ Photo"zoo"
We will see if the FUJI adapter works WONDERS and the corner smearing disappears into nothingness.
I will buy it instantly if it does :-)
But... It´s funny to see that you call everyone a TROLL who is not 100% on your side.
And no... Not everything can be solved through software in-camera. Th M9 has special microlenses on the outer parts of the sensor to give the good results when used together with the software. The Nex 5n (which I also own) has those too.
I didnt read anything about special microlenses for the Fuji so far. I used my Contax G 28, 35, 45 and 90mm on my X-Pro1 too and the 28 + the 35mm give a lot a corner smearing (and no color cast !)! Like the Nex 3/5 before the 5n did.

Did YOU use any of this stuff before and have experiences ?
My guess is -> No.
Whatever. I hope the Fuji-adapter will work wonders :-)
Cheers !

I said that MF wide angle lenses give corner smearing on the Xpro1.
This happends with Contax G and Leica lenses for example.
I didnt speak about the Fuji adapter but in general with other adapters.
Since the Fuji adapter doesnt contain a lens or something to straighten the light rays before hitting the sensor the Fuji Adapter will do nothing for corner smearing.
AND in the press infos they dont even talk about corner smearing... !
Only about color cast (which more or less does not exist when using the other adapters) lens vignetting and so on.
So read before you write ;-)
Cheers

What about the corner smearing?
The camera has no real issue with color shift in the corners but with smearing when using wide angle lenses!
