This probably is too premature to ask but does anyone know if the p900 has more than one continuous drive or just the 7 fps setting which from what I saw is only good for 7 frames max. Usually there will be a slower burst mode also like 2fps etc.
Buy it next week? You mean pre-order it I hope. The camera is not due out until the end of July. I put in a very early order shortly after it was announced so lets see if I am going to be one of the lucky ones to get it when it does come out. i am thinking there will be a shortage of these at first.
Photato: 4k on a phone! lolzYou gotta be kidding me.Marketing BS reigns supreme!
Yup, I too, was a non believer until I saw the 4k video from the Note 3. I now have one sitting right here. The video must be seen to be appreciated and yes it is a noticeable improvement over 1080p HD video. The depth and detail is nothing short of stunning. Not a gimmick whatsoever. Get yourself a nice 64 GB card though the files I hear are pretty huge.
tkbslc: The fact that this review hit just when Amazon raised the price by $60 and everyone else is backordered has me reaching for my tinfoil hat.
I would have kept my FZ150 if it wasn't for the usual Panasonic "speckle" type noise I observed and also on the FZ100 although the chroma noise on the FZ100 was way worse. I don't see a big improvement in the FZ200 so I opted for the SX40 and now the sx50. Those cameras imo exhibit noise also but not as pronounced as the those large speckled blotches introduced by the panny superzooms. If Panasonic could improve that aspect without killing the detail with n/r I would jump ship in a second as I really liked the handling of the Panny superzooms.
Why no Articlated LCD, I don't get it. Why bother.
Nothing has come along in a while to compete with the Sony HX100v, but this changes everything. Along with the Panasonic FZ150, these two cameras will bed the new leaders I predict. And I thought I had my mind made up about purchasing the FZ150 already.
