To return to real photography instead of the snapshots Ive been doing the last ten years.
I'm not a pro though I had a small business in pet portraiture once. (using Nikon FM's)
Ive been artistically frustrated since digital cameras came on the scene and I want to learn more about the medium or find out if Ive just 'lost my touch'.
I've been reading this board for years, especially the reviews. My last camera, a DSC-828 Sony was bought on the strength of those reviews, however the deadly slow focusing is really messing with me and Ive never found a way to set it up that makes my photos come out the way I want them to look.
