I'm still on 1.4. Thanks for the tip guys. Truly appreciated! :)

Just wondering if anyone has the same issue as me and if someone has a solution for this. It appears that IS turns on when I half press the shutter button in PASM. However, IS does NOT turn on when...

The OMD is indeed impressive. If you like quiet shutters you should try out the electronics shutter on the G5 or GH3. Still, I would go for the omd because of its incredible image stabilisation. On...

I had the G5 and replaced it with the OM-D. I thought the G5 had better handling and ergonomics which is why I got it first. It's a good camera overall but since I shoot mostly in low light it's...

I have the g5 and 100-300mm. It really feels like they were made for each other :). Having the grip and evf just makes shooting at extreme focal lengths much easier and you really can't go wrong...

I agree, pick up the Panasonic 14mm pancake. Compared to the 20mm it is not as bright and marginally not as sharp. But you get much faster focusing and smaller size. But most of all I noticed a...

From my experience the d600 isn't as accurate as my d700. I still use the d600 more often since it's lighter and i can plug the sd card directly to my laptop. I'm still waiting for more stock to...

12-35mm + 100-300mm definitely does the job!

Olympus flashes work just fine on panasonic. I use the smallish Olympus fl36r on the G5. Panasonic doesn't offer remote flash just yet, their first model supporting that will be the GH3. It is said...

I agree, the e-pl5 is probably a better choice in terms of maximising iq from the system. Handling is a different story though, I would give that to the gx1 but it's rather subjective. The thing...

To update or not to update.. The focusing and bokeh are really quite appealing imo.

I used to have the pancake zoom, didn't like the pictures that came out. Most of them were soft and lacking contrast, even though SOME pictures were sharp. Had no idea what was going on. Recently...

Have a look at the Panasonic G3. It's considered 'last gen' enough but still has the performance similar to the newer models. I must say the sony bodies are a bit more appealing but they don't...

Thanks for the post! This lens looks more interesting by the day.

I used to shoot with the gx1 and now I'm using the G5. IQ wise their pretty much equal. The biggest difference in the handling and they feel like two totally different cameras even though their so...

It works if you shoot wider than 2.8 and if you don't focus at far distances (>10m). As long as you keep it at that, the slight vignetting is very easy to remove. Depends what you're gonna use it...

Both of these lenses are made for full frame sensors so the quality is not optimised for the d3100. You should have a look at the 55-200mm or 55-300mm instead.
