Zoltan Csuka: Flash on the handgrip?! That is impossible and will no doubt cause a lot of issues. I still remember the Nikon 5000 compact (from 2001) causing end-less issues/complaints with placing the flash between the grip and lens. But this Ricoh is 200% worse. There must be total chaos at Ricoh to let something like this slip through.
the flash on my Casio z750 is on the right side and i never had any problem with it. the casio z750 was the best compact in its class when it came out 6 years ago.
I can't believe this entry didn't make it to top 3! I was even expecting this to be the runaway winner. It's cleat thatr there are people who voted this down. What is even shocking is one of my entries got 50th while this one only got 79th. I guess people voted with thumbnail viewing mode.
i couldn't believe this shot got some low score votes...surely those are jealous and pin-down votes.
Panasonic G3 is even better than this Sony A77
Kincho: That's incredible! Well done...the only reasons someone might have given this photo a 0.5 rating was if they were trying to bring you down or felt the image was slightly 'off-topic' in that it does represent the transport of a fighter pilot, but perhaps more commercial transport was implied by this challenge...but still, any 0.5 votes are totally unreasonable.
totally agree with this comment.
...this photo has the best 'Three' theme in any of the entries. You seems to be more impressed with the way this photo was 'framed' but to me it's very simplistic and anyone could have done this composition. The most difficult about this photo that any other entries did not achive is getting the Three's many times over. This photo presents not just the 3 marbles but also 3 reflections of the marbles, 3 dominant colour in the marbles which are also captured in reflected images, 3 dominant backgroud colours and combined with the best arrange the 3 objects in slant position are somethings that any other entries could not present.Daniel Ichilov wrote: > Why do you think the host chose "three"?> After all, he could have chosen any other number.> It's because "three" offers composition possibilities, like no other number.> Now delete one of the marbles in the photo . Would the effect be less impressive, or less beautiful?!> I Don't think so. Which proves that "three" has no meaning here, besides the fact that it proves the photographer can count.> And if I recall, this is a photography challenge. Not a math one.> And to those who associate me with sour grapes, such look at my comment on the 3rd runner up.
..why is there no exif information? is Sigma exif not a standard exif that could be automatically captured by DPR system?
Can't believe this photo only got the 18th place. Everything in this photo is full of emotion than those in top 10 all combined.
when i first see the image it looked so ordinary to me. but looking again and reading how the image was done and what materials were used, i was really impressed.
